Honest Muslim Cleric: ‘I Hate Christians and Am Disgusted by Them’

Dr. Abdullah Badr—an Egyptian Muslim scholar, Al Azhar graduate, and professor of Islamic exegesis, who spent ten years in prison under Mubarak, but, along with any number of Islamic terrorists and agitators, was released under Morsi—recently gave an excellent summation of the second half of the highly divisive Muslim doctrine of wala’ wa bara’ (or, “Love and Hate”)—namely, that the true Muslim should love and help fellow Muslims, while hating and being disgusted by non-Muslims.

These include criminal record checks for all religious teachers and greater parental involvement over what is taught.

So far, reaction has been positive.

Al-Qaeda terror drone fear: £1,300 pilotless plane 'could blow up Big Ben'

They could get one loaded with Semtex and GPS guidance systems and launch a murderous attack on London from as near as France

al-Qaeda could destroy Big Ben with cheap drones packed full of explosives, a military expert has warned.

Christopher McKeating said terror chiefs can buy a basic pilotless plane for as little as £1,300.

But for £6,500, or $10,000, they could get one loaded with Semtex and GPS guidance systems and launch a murderous attack on London from as near as France.

A timer on the drone could delay its take-off for up to six months. There would be little chance of detection prior to any attack.

Mr McKeating said: “For $10,000 a drone with a payload of 50kg could be placed outside Paris, wake up in six months, take off for London in the middle of the night and destroy Big Ben… live on the net with running commentary.

“That is the price the terrorist would pay today. The price tomorrow will be much less.”

Christians in Egypt increasingly vulnerable

From sectarian violence to political marginalization, Christian Copts are being pushed aside in majority-Muslim Egypt.

This is the second in a series of posts about dwindling Christian communities in the Middle East.

MELLAWI, Egypt — It’s been close to two years since Evon Loga Gabrieul’s 17-year-old son died, but she can’t step into his pristine gray-scale bedroom without breaking down.

“They murdered him, and nothing’s changed. The country, my family…they both will never be the same,” she weeps, peering at the charcoal log of grades the meticulous high-schooler used to chart his progress and a possible way out of his rundown, forgotten village in rural Egypt.

Muslim group's search for Brentwood mosque is back on

A MUSLIM group which battled to retrieve thousands of pounds pledged for a mosque in Brentwood could soon launch a renewed bid to find a permanent home.

The modest community of Brentwood Muslims were dealt a cruel blow when the imam they thought was acting to help them build a mosque in 2005 tricked them out of more than £32,000.

Miah Rahman working with Mohammed Edoo, promised to use the thousands of pounds in donations collected from supporters to build a Muslim temple they could call their own.

The group, which had been using a local community hall near Brentwood Station, were left out of pocket after the proposals were shelved when the pair were outbid on a 1.4 acre former garden centre in Pilgrims Hatch in 2008

Lego added the “Jabba’s Palace” playset to its Star Wars collection in 2012. But in January this year the set started to provoke outrage in Austria’s Islamic community after a Muslim father found that his sister had given one to his son as a present.
