'SIR' MOHAMMAD CHOWDHURY 'IS A KILLER'

A TEACHER has been unmasked as a convicted murderer after checks into his background failed to show he was wanted in his home country.

The Home Office is being urged to extradite Mohammad Chowdhury, convicted in Bangladesh of killing a man in 1997.

He received a life term in 2005 in his absence after moving to Britain.

The father-of-two, who works at the Darul Hadis Latifi ah School in east London, says he is innocent and his late brother, Seraj, stabbed the victim in self-defence.

The school will re-open an probe which cleared him in September and if he is found guilty it will “stop employing him”.
