Two men on trial over allegations that they raped under-age girls will not be giving evidence to a crown court jury.

On the directions of the judge the jury therefore found Rehman not guilty on two of the rape allegations he faces.

A third defendant Raksar Nawaz, 30, of Rhodes Street, St John’s, Halifax, was discharged after the jury were directed by the judge to find him not guilty on three drugs-related allegations and a further charge of arranging or facilitating a child sex offence.
