Police have stepped up their presence in parts of Middlesbrough after the woman reported she had been assaulted in the early hours of Sunday following a night out in the town centre.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen a distressed woman in a phone box on the corner of Marton Road and Borough Road on Sunday at about 5.15am.
The two men police would like to speak to are both of Asian appearance.
One is in his late 20s, about 5ft 5ins tall, of skinny build with facial
stubble.
