Former taxi driver's sentence reduced for good behaviour

A TAXI driver who sexually assaulted a woman in his car after picking her up in the street will no longer be supervised because of the progress he has made in changing his behaviour.

Masoud Rahimi preyed on the 20-year-old woman as she walked along Ferensway, Hull city centre, from the nightclub.

After assaulting the woman, Rahimi took her to west Hull and ended up in Asda petrol station in Hessle Road despite her request to be taken to another part of the city.

Once there, the girl escaped from his cab and ran for help.
