A married father-of-three said he panicked when police questioned him about an alleged rape.
Police called Khalid Mahmood in for interview in May 2011 following the incident in March of that year.
Mahmood told jurors at Bradford Crown Court: “I was scared because I knew that I had had sex with her, but I had not done anything wrong.

"No Way Through for Germans"
Recently in the middle of October 20 police vehicles had to be deployed to stop a mass battle between 50 of the inhabitatns. According to the police, it was mainly Serbs and Arabs who were fighting with knives, sticks and tear gas.Source: Bild
Inhabitant Ramona Nomigkeit doesn't dare to leave her child (8) alone in front of the door any more: "The gangs of criminals spit on us, insult us and steal from us." Her neighbour Irene Boschen is afraid too: "They shout "Shit Germans" at us, and also hung up a sign between their apartment blocks that said "No way through for Germans".
Recently Radio Bremen broadcast a documentary about the city's "problem areas". Some members of a criminal gang called "Los Arabs" were interviewed":
The police have got nothing to say here. They might come past here with one or two crews. If they see one, two people they might stop. But when they see more than that, they don't dare. There's nothing else to do here. Either you build shit and when you work, you get no respect here. People laugh at you. Anyone that works here earns no money. One two, one three - what's he going to do with that. If you do break-ins, you make ten thousand, twenty thousand, thirty thousand - that's a lot better.Source: PI

Shropshire paedophile jailed for seven years
Jailed paedophile Mohammed Ali Sultan had sex with a 13-year-old
girl in his car after taking her to a lay-by and slapping her, a court
was told.
The 26-year-old married man had first asked the girl to perform a sex act when she was just 12 years old, Wolverhampton Crown Court was told.
Sultan,
of Victoria Avenue in Wellington, was yesterday jailed for seven years
after the court was told of a string of sex-related offences with
children and youngsters.
He was told he would have to serve an extended period on licence and banned from working with children for life.
Sultan admitted having illegal sex with two teenage girls - including the 13-year-old.
He was also sentenced for taking a third teenager from Telford to have sex with workers at a fish and chip shop.

Trio of Bradford men plead guilty after police crackdown on gun crime in district
Three Bradford men are facing lengthy prison sentences after admitting firearms conspiracy charges.
The men appeared at Bradford Crown Court yesterday following their arrests during a major crackdown on gun and drugs crime in Bradford.
Iflaq Khan, 35, of Baxandall Street, West Bowling; Nadeem Hussain, 31, of Merton Road, Little Horton; and Joseph Stott, 24, of Halton Place, Great Horton, were produced from custody to appear in a secure dock before Judge Robert Bartfield.
All three defendants pleaded guilty to two charges, conspiracy to possess a firearm – a 12-gauge, double-barreled sawn-off shotgun – with intent to endanger life, on July 27 this year; and conspiracy to possess ammunition – three 12-gauge shotgun cartridges – with intent to endanger life, on the same date.
The accused were flanked by security officers during the short hearing.
The court heard the three men had given no basis for their pleas.
Judge Bartfield remanded all three in custody to appear again at the court for sentencing on January 10.
A fourth man, Umar Hussain, 28, of Sandhurst Avenue, Birmingham, also appeared at the crown court and pleaded not guilty to the same two charges.
Prosecutor Andrew Kershaw told the judge there would have to be a trial, which was set for January 7 and is expected to last for two days. Hussain was remanded in custody to that date.
The court appearance of the four men followed their arrest in July.
During the summer, police made about 60 arrests and seized drugs valued at almost half a million pounds in a two-week crackdown on gun and drugs crime in the Bradford district, called Operation Sabredale. The operation was set up to tackle firearms offences after a number of incidents in the district.

Pot peddlers 'forced teens to become Muslim'
Police have arrested members of a gang of Eastern European
immigrants who used violence, intimidation and the promotion of Islam to
control marijuana trafficking operations in the Neuchâtel mountains,
cantonal justice authorities said on Thursday.
Three members were detained for questioning following the arrest of another ringleader in March, who remains in jail, the public prosecutor’s office said, while issuing an appeal to the public for more information to help permanently disband the group.
The gang, which calls itself the Jamahat, forced other young people to become Muslims as part of its operations, said officials.
The group peddled pot to adolescents from disadvantaged families in the cities of Le Locle and La Chaux-de-Fonds, traditional watch-making centres, the prosecutor’s office said in a statement.
The group is made up of young Muslim men originally from such places as Chechnya, Afghanistan and Yugoslavia who recently stepped up their criminal activities, authorities said.
The group “is attempting to radicalize its activities by seeking to impose — by physical and psychological violence — a monopoly on the sale of marijuana in our region.”
Using menacing threats, the group’s members forced other young people to sign up for cell phone contracts and then seizing smart phones and other electronic gadgets obtained in the process.
These devices were then sold on the black market, largely in La Chaux-de-Fonds, authorities said.
Meanwhile, a large number of young people have run up large debts from phone bills running into the thousands of francs, according to the government information.
Some kids were forced to sign up for as many as seven different telecom contracts.
On top of this, victims were made to convert to Islam, often without knowing anything about the religion and in “blind submission” to the wishes of the Jamahat group, authorities said.
As part of the ongoing investigation, cantonal police are now seeking help from the public about the whereabouts of an underground parking lot, probably in La Chaux-de-Fonds, or the nearby region.
The facility is served by an elevator providing access to a basement with heating and different rooms with easy access for vehicles.
Anyone with information about such a structure is asked to call Neuchâtel police at 032 889 9000.

French Minister Admits Her Own Employee Came From Family of Jihadists and that Muslim Pupils Are Exchanging Decapitation Videos in Schools
First, some background. One of the curious features of French politics
compared to other countries is the custom that senior politicians often
serve as mayors of small towns too. The person involved here, Nathalie
Kosciusko-Morizet, was a minister under Sarkozy's government. She was
one of those most prominent in resisting Sarkozy's supposed "drift to
the right", which anyway was more rhetorical than real, and scotching
proposals that her party, the mainstream right UMP, should hook up with
the "far-right" UMP.
Sarkozy's government introduced a proposal to criminalise repeated visits to sites that gloried terrorism. Since coming to power, the Socialists have tried to kill this measure off but the UMP, of which Nathalie Kosciusko-Morizet is a member, are still pursuing it. She spoke in the debate on the subject, saying that one "of [her] employees in the town council [Longjumeau (Esssonne)]", has been "married for twenty years to a man which engaged in a process of radicalisation":
Note she says that it is the 15-year-old in danger, but in truth it is the French people who have been endangered by the presence of these jihadist aliens on their soil. She says there is nothing that can be done about it, but would a French government hesitate to take children away from a militant "far-right" activist in the same circumstances?

She has four sons, among which the two eldest, engaged in the same process, are openly under surveillance; as for the third, he is 15 and is subject to the same influences as his brothers, who live with the father and give him the addresses of internet sites that show scenes of decapitation, done by men with large black swords, with repetitive music in the background.Source: Rue89
It visits the same sites habitually and repeatedly. You could always say that it is better to put him under surveillance in case he does any more than that, but that fact is that today he is in danger, and nothing can be done about it.
Your arguments apply above all to young people about 20 years old engaged in a process of radicalisation; but these decapitation videos are being passed around in school classes.

Lodger jailed after raping young girl
A rapist who attacked a 12-year-old girl has today been jailed for 14 years.Ahmed Shirinzoy, attacked the victim at an address in Hayes. He had claimed that he had visited a friend who had given him a spiked drink, causing memory loss.
The 22-year-old was sentenced to 14 years in prison after he was convicted of two counts of rape last month following a trial at Isleworth Crown Court
The court heard that on May 29 Shirinzoy was lodging at the address when his victim returned home.
On the pretext he wanted to ‘borrow’ her families vacuum cleaner, Shirinzoy approached the girl, made advances towards her before punching her several times and then raping her.
Following her ordeal, the child managed to run away and raise the alarm. Police were called and Shirinzoy was arrested a short time later at the address.
Toxicology tests later disproved Shirinzoy’s defence of memory loss, as did DNA evidence taken from his victim.
Detective Constable Lucy Mawdsley, said: “Shirinzoy is quite obviously a predatory sex offender who subjected his victim - a child - to the most horrendous of ordeals.
“I would like to pay tribute to this young girl who was incredibly brave and courageous in reporting the rape to the police and having the strength to give evidence against.”

45% of Saudi children face family abuse
Nearly 45 per cent of Saudi Arabia’s children are suffering from abuse
and violence at home and this should prompt authorities to take urgent
action, a prominent female Saudi psychiatrist was reported on Sunday as
saying.
The child intelligence centre, a private agency based in the western Saudi Red Sea port of Jeddah, discovered nearly 500 child abuse cases in local families in 2011, a sharp increase over the previous year’s 292 cases, the centre’s director, Sana Al Huwaili, told the Saudi Arabic language daily Alriyadh.
“Child abuse in Saudi Arabia is steadily rising…….figures by the Ministry of Social Affairs show that nearly 45 per cent of the Kingdom’s children are suffering from abuse and violence by their families,” she said.
“This worsening problem should prompt the authorities and all other concerned parties to take urgent action through an extensive awareness and education campaign targeting all segments of the society…we should also focus our efforts on the education authorities as many students undergo verbal and physical abuse at school and home.”
Huwaili said parents in Saudi Arabia, with a population of around 28 million, need to change their behavior towards their children.
“They just need to learn how to deal with their children whether they are troublesome or creative…parents’ behavior reflects positively or negative on their children…in the negative case, it could delay the child’s growth including intelligence, talking and understanding….it could also lead to an aggressive behavior by the child such as damaging property, deliberate harming of others, fleeing home, sleeping problems, anxiety, depression, guilt and embarrassment, and weak self-confidence….all these cases could push children to indulge in crime.”

Council chiefs vow to bring child grooming offenders to ‘justice’
COUNCIL chiefs in Rotherham today vowed to bring sexual predators to justice for targeting young children in the town.
The vow came after the disclosure of confidential police and council documents and intelligence files on the sexual exploitation of children in South Yorkshire.
They revealed that for more than a decade South Yorkshire authorities have been aware of a growing culture of men targeting vulnerable young English girls to groom for sex, but give a series of shocking examples of where offenders have never been prosecuted.

Rotherham MP Denis MacShane, said
“We need to tackle the alienation of so many young Asian men from modern society. Sadly the endemic poverty and growing joblessness especially amongst young British men in South Yorkshire with Asian parents who often face prejudice in getting jobs creates a no-work, no-hope, no-future.
Yes the same Muppet

Carwash kingpin jailed over plan to flood North-East with heroin
THE mastermind behind a plan to flood the North-East with heroin and cannabis was last night starting a sixteen-and-a-half-year prison sentence.
Majid Khan used his car wash business in Middlesbrough as a front for a multi-million pound plot to mass distribute drugs.
Incredibly, one of the men behind the nationwide scheme was already serving a 14 year sentence in jail.
Teesside Crown Court heard how that didn't prevent convicted drugs baron Imran Bashir helping to orchestrate the team.
Bashir brazenly discussed the evil plan during a prison visit when his wife used her mobile phone to host a conference call with Khan.
Although both men spoke perfectly good English, their conversations recorded by prison bosses were in mostly in Urdu and contained codes.
Although police recovered drugs worth £300,000 the court heard how the trade was worth millions.

Norway judges free Islamic extremist
The Supreme Court rules there is no reason to hold Arslan Ubaydullah
Maroof Hussain in continued custody despite still standing indictments.
Mr Hussain was arrested at the end of last month initially for statements on his Facebook group that left Oslo’s Jewish community feeling threatened.
His remarks resulted in Ola Elvestuen, Oslo city councillor for the Liberal Party (V), calling for talks with police over security at the synagogue.
Police subsequently posted guards outside the Israeli Embassy and the Jewish pre-school near the synagogue just over one week ago in connection with events in the Middle East.
27-year-old Mr Hussain, of Pakistani origin, has been held on remand for four weeks total. He is also indicted for issuing threats against two journalists, as well as threatening an expert witness during trial proceedings.
Today’s verdict quashes Borgarting Court of Appeal’s continued custody ruling. Court of Appeal judges will now have to hear Arslan Ubaydullah Maroof Hussain’s case anew.
However, police have asked for Mr Hussain to remain in custody until this has been effecuated.

George Galloway criticises Syrian opposition for not 'lifting a finger for jihad'
George Galloway has criticised opponents of the Syrian regime for not "lifting a finger for jihad" by challenging rulers in other countries including Saudi Arabia.
Sadly there will no fear of this mouth piece heading over there to do a bit of jihading
The Respect MP, who won a by-election to represent Bradford West in March,
said he opposed critics of the Syrian regime because "their enemies are
worse than them".
He questioned why there was no 'jihad' in other Arab countries when those
opposing Bashar al-Assad, the President of Syria, were "ready to spend
an ocean of blood".
"What about their freedom in the other Arab countries?" he asked on
an appearance on Al-Mayadeen, a Lebanese television station. "Are they
ready to fight there? No, they are collaborating with these other Arab
countries.
"It is just strange to me that they are ready to kill thousands, maybe
tens of thousands, in Syria but they will not lift a finger for jihad in
other Arab countries which are, and have always been, on the path of treason
towards the Palestinian people.
"There are Arab countries where there is no freedom or liberty at all,
which have one-family rule, who even give the name of their family to their
country but there is no jihad in such countries.

Mussie to be sentenced for double Wakefield murder
Man to be sentenced for double Wakefield murder
An asylum-seeker who murdered two teenage girls and left their bodies in a Wakefield flat will be sentenced today.
Ahmad Otak stabbed his ex-girlfriend’s sister, 17-year-old Kimberley Frank, and her friend Samantha Sykes, 18, in March.
Otak, 21, who is from Afghanistan and entered the UK in 2007, visited Kimberley’s flat in Barden Road to discuss his stormy relationship with her sister Elisa before the murders took place.
He pleaded guilty to two counts of murder at a previous hearing at Leeds Crown Court.
After he entered the pleas, Judge Peter Collier warned him: “As I’m sure you will understand, the sentence for murder is fixed by law and the sentence that will be passed on you in due course is one of life imprisonment.”
Appearing via videolink from Wakefield Prison, Otak denied two further charges relating to the kidnap and false imprisonment of Elisa Frank.
He also pleaded guilty to carrying a blade - a kitchen knife - in Wakefield on the day of the murders.
He will be sentenced at Leeds Crown Court.
