Sheffield churchgoer dies after brutal attack

A CHURCHGOING grandfather has died in hospital three days after he was the victim of a ‘brutal’ street attack in Sheffield.

Father-of-four Alan Greaves, aged 68, was on his way to play the organ at St Saviours C of E in High Green when he suffered life-threatening head injuries in a violent assault on Christmas Eve.
