A man has been arrested in connection with an explosion at a house in Bolton.
Shortly after 1.20pm on Sunday, police were called by the North West
Ambulance Service, who had received reports a man had suffered serious
injury to his hand.
Officers attended and discovered a 26-year-old man had suffered a
serious hand injury during an explosion at a house on Lea Gate.
A number of neighbouring houses were evacuated as a precaution while a search was carried out by bomb disposal experts.
