A judge has ordered a Muslim woman to remove her niqab when she
testifies next week at the preliminary hearing for two men she alleges
sexually assaulted her years ago.
It is the second time Ontario Court Justice Norris Weisman has ruled
N.S. – known in court by her initials – should remove the face covering
when testifying in court.
He released his written ruling Wednesday.
