A teenager from Edmonton, accused of raping an 11-year-old girl in a
park in north London, had attacked another schoolgirl a year before.
The
Old Bailey heard Opemipo Jaji, is alleged to have followed the girl,
still dressed in her school uniform, as she made her way home from
school on a bus.
The 18 year old followed her and dragged her
into Jubilee Park in Enfield before subjecting her to a three-hour rape
ordeal in November last year.
She ran home bleeding and injured
at around 8pm. Her parents - who had expected her home by 5pm - had
already rung the police after she failed to turn up.
She had to undergo an operation because of her injuries.
